Shiraz –capital city of Fars ProvinceZagros mountains has been the capital of Iran during many dynasties.
Most recently, it was the capital of the Zand dynasty from 1750 until 1781 It is known as the city
of poetry, wine, roses,love and nightingale. ,This beautiful city enjoys mode
rate climate and very friendly people and their sweet accent.
The world’s oldest sample of wine approximately 7000 years was discovered incidentaly in clay jars outside Shiraz. This green city is hometown of Hafez and Saadi, poets with great fame and unbelievable popularity among all Iranians, Afghans and some more nations around Iran. You may enjoy warm hospitality of Shirazi people and visit many traditional mansions of the local dignitaries transformed into museums, traditional restaurants and cultural centers. Some Shirazi traders and adventurers has traveled to east African countries few centuries back and have started trading between Iran seaports and African countries .They enjoy good reputation there and called Shirazi in Tanzania ,Kenya ,Zanzibar and some other eastern states of the black continent.
Shirazi people are known as easy goers, enjoying their life till late evening and wake up late in the morning! Some are calling them lazy and sleepy but they are very intelligent and lovely.
Shiraz, an ancient city, four thousand years old, and the fifth populated city of the country in 2016 with 1.870.000 population situated in southwest of Iran ,1486 meters above the sea level.
